Planning ahead became weirdly attractive
I never thought a calendar invitation would be romantic, but apparently reliability has entered the chat.
I love spontaneity, but I have learned that constant last-minute plans can start to feel less spontaneous and more like being an option.
There is something unexpectedly attractive about someone saying, 'Are you free Thursday?' and then actually making Thursday happen.
It is not about needing everything scheduled weeks in advance. It is about feeling like time together has been considered instead of squeezed into whatever space happens to be left.
Effort does not have to be grand. Most of the time, it is just consistency with good manners.
